Paris Fashion Week: Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2010 RTW
Down the Paris runway in Isabel Marant spring/summer 2010 ready-to-wear collection.

In October last year, during the Paris runway show, Isabel Marant showcased her spring/summer 2010 ready-to-wear collection.
For this collection, “Marant imagined her girls on a trip around the world, picking up feather earrings, chain-mail scarves, and other treasures along the way, which means that boho pirates may soon be replacing rocker chicks in fashion capitals all over the globe.” So, prepare yourself for tie-dye, stripey Lurex, and an abundance of hot pink - and we love our hot pinks don't we?
Comparing the spring/summer collection to the fall one, this collection is a little looser and a lot more colourful - there's hot pink! What remains unchanged is probably the fact that it's still made for ladies on the street and not ladies on the runways.
The show was packed with pieces designed to give a girl's wardrobe an instant update. Repeating this perhaps the millionth time, strong-shouldered jacket are back! And this time with a little extra - crafty embellishments around the neckline.
